Website Content Management for the voluntary and not-for-profit sector

Developing and supporting WordPress and QnECMS websites

A content management system allows you to easily update and manage your website, saving you both time and money. Even better is a content management system that can help you keep your website content accessible to your visitors. With that in mind we have developed expertise in both WordPress and QnECMS

WordPress

WordPress the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world. As it is free and open source it has become popular with non-profit and third-sector organisations. However it requires expertise to build accessible WordPress websites; which is were we come in.

QnECMS

Jim Byrne developed QnECMS (Quick and Easy Content Management System) from the ground up to be accessible; both the admin pages the public facing pages.

QnECMS uses a template system which means that you don’t need to worry about spoiling your site design while updating it.

Not-for-profit organisations tend to be particularly sensitive to the accessibility needs of their target audience. Both WordPress and QnECMS are excellent ways to manage a site and to help ensure that site remains accessible.

Feedback from clients,

As an organisation providing support to visually impaired people, we had scoured the web to find a content management system that is easy to use AND that produces accessible web output. QnECMS has provided both of these things and we are now in a position where we can update content easily and we have a clean, simple website that transforms gracefully when people change the screen settings.

… He will also point out any problems with what you are planning. I feel he designed an online database to our specifications within the resources and time frames. I would highly recommend his work.
